Welcome to La Veta, CO. home to our 2007 Boys & Girls State qualifier Basketball Teams.

Elevation Approximately 7300 feet.

La Veta is a quaint, small community nestled at the base of the Spanish Peaks & Sangre De Cristos at the mouth of the Cuchara Valley.

We are located right across from the beautiful 18 hole Grandote Peaks Golf Course on Highway 12, the scenic highway of legends.

All sites are gravel & some sites have a grass yard.  Pets are welcome as long as they are on a leash & picked up after.
